“At Omnikron, the trust and loyalty we have for each other spills over to our clients and consultants. As our business colleagues become a part of our Alumni, the relationships continue to deepen.
A terrific benefit which comes from this type of environment is that problems are solved easily and/or averted altogether. Consequently, we have so much more time to work on the Important and Fun things in the lives of our growing community.
Omnikron is the best place I’ve ever worked. This blessing, I count everyday.”
Melanie Peplow
“One of the key differences with Omnikron is their work environment and the feeling that everyone belongs to a unified culture and family. You’re definitely not just another number. Many places are hampered by a lot of bureaucracy and other processes. This never happens at Omnikron, where everyone is looked at as an individual. It makes a huge difference.
The quality of work at the firm is also one of the key differences. The training that they provide their employees is stellar and they always try to get on the cutting edge of technology by putting investment into their R&D.
Omnikron has a lot of integrity and the customer always comes first. Even if something ends up being more expensive, Omnikron is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the customer gets what they were promised.”
Sunil Bagai,
Principal Consultant, IBM
“Omnikron has always been extremely professional and extremely ethical. They’re fair and easy to work with. Every person from Omnikron that I’ve met has turned out to be a good person and our needs have always been met.
Their professionalism separates them from the pack. They always sent over the right type of employee so we didn’t have to waste a whole lot of time dealing with problem workers. Their screening process is impeccable and they are meticulously organized. They’ve always managed to make our lives easier.”
Cathy Fisher,
Project Director, National Service Provider
“The number one thing that makes Omnikron different is their team of people who run the company. They are all outstanding individuals who make an effort to stay updated on new technologies, new platforms and new market leads. They’re always looking to recruit and hire the best people on the market.
The second reason why Omnikron is so impressive is their wonderful attitude about getting the job done for their clients and their consultants. They have always gone above and beyond to make sure that their commitments to their clients are met.”
Al Makeen,
VP of Application Development & Production Technology Div., Countrywide Financial Corporation
“My experiences with Omnikron have all been fabulous and great. I’ve known the people at the company for six years and they’ve always been phenomenal. Saying that they’re professional is an understatement. They go above and beyond to make sure that all their candidates are higher quality and better screened than the competition.
I have nothing but positive things to say about their firm. They’re outstanding at following up on requests and their price points are always fair and reasonable. They provide a personalized touch that I value and they go out of their way to know and understand the nature of my company.
What really separates them from the rest of the pack is their personalization. They know my customers better than any other vendor and they always have a good handle on the right way to do things.”
Stefan Steinberg,
Area Manager, National Operations Manager,
National Service Provider
“I have been in Information Technology for over 30 years and have used many recruiters to fill both permanent positions and contractor positions. Many are just "body-shops" and continue to throw resumes at you until one or more sticks. Then after engagement, the candidate never heard from the recruiter and neither did I.
I found Omnikron to be different. They actually screen applicants against the job and skills descriptions. The Omnikron staff can react quickly to last minute request or changing plans. Currently, 75% of my consultant staff is from Omnikron. Omnikron senior management constantly checks with both me and the consultant to ensure the engagement is going well from both perspectives.
Whether you are recruiting or you need to be recruited, I highly recommend Omnikron.”
Walt Gioscia,
Program Manager, National Health Insurer
“What makes Omnikron different is the caliber of candidate that they provide. You can tell that they don’t just send in every Joe off the street. Everyone that they send over to us always has a technical background and meets our stringent requirements.
Other companies that we’ve worked with in the past have been pushy and difficult to deal with. The candidates they sent us were interesting at best and there always seemed to be something missing with their employees. Sometimes it would be personality, other times it would be a lack of working knowledge. We have never had any one of these issues with Omnikron.
Any problem is always resolved immediately. It’s merely a matter of making a phone call. They listen to what we need and they do their best. Other companies may do the same thing, but none do it better than Omnikron.”
Marcus Cogman,
IT Site Manager, Thomson Technicolor
“Omnikron's reputation as Web Development experts was the primary reason they were selected to assist in development of CNI's on-line "Quote and Purchase" system for our Personal Property and Personal Auto insurance products. They have provided us with an excellent level of consultants and experience to assist us in implementing our vision. Omnikron's consultants have proven that they are very professional and technically proficient. We are very pleased with Omnikron's performance and look forward to a long and flourishing relationship.”
Lou Balicki,
CNI
“The rims.com site was an aggressive and challenging project with an ambitious delivery date. I am very pleased with the level of ownership and contribution Omnikron Systems, Inc. has demonstrated throughout the lifecycle of the project.”
Brian M. Lee
“Omnikron has been a very good company to work for. They let me be myself. Other companies that I’ve dealt with in the past micro-manage people, Omnikron doesn’t. They give you the space you need to do your job well.
During the holidays, they always send us personalized cards, which is a very nice touch. It makes you feel cared for.
Additionally, when I was being interviewed by a prospective client for a job, the executives at Omnikron sent me a technical book to brush up on my skills, free of charge. I really liked that. No other company that I’ve worked for has ever done anything like that.”
Jose L. Ruiz,
Systems Analyst for Large Mortgage Company
“I’m constantly impressed by the technical ability of all of Omnikron’s different employees. In my ten years at the company, I’ve definitely gotten to see how incredibly versatile their staff is.
I’ve stayed with Omnikron for as long as I have because the work is challenging and also because I love the team I work with. Those are the kinds of things that make you enjoy your job. At Omnikron, they respect your opinion.
The company is particularly special because of its chief executive, Basu Ghosh, and his relationship with everyone else in the firm. He has the unique ability to make everyone bond. Basu cares about the people that work for him and he always includes everyone in whatever activities he does, whether it’s camping or skiing or something else. He knows how to create unity in a team.”
Sanjiv Ekbote,
Senior Consultant for Securities Firm
“The people at Omnikron have done a wonderful job of placing me on jobs. I’ve never had any downtime since I started at the firm. The employees are incredibly personable. I’ve never once had a problem with any of them.
One thing that’s good about Omnikron is that because they’re a relatively small firm, they’re very accessible. Many firms are multinational agencies with a lot of turnover, and you rarely end up working for the same person. Omnikron is the exact opposite. They’re stable, which is really nice for the employees.”
Ira Newman,
Data Analyst in Healthcare Space
“My experiences with Omnikron have all been positive. Robin Borough is an outstanding executive and did an excellent job of preparing me for my consulting position. She let me know what was going to happen on the job and her advice was incredibly helpful. I knew who I’d be talking to, the history of the account, and what our client was looking for. It really helped me do a great job.
Omnikron is more people oriented than most companies. They care about their employees and look out for them. But above all, they make sure that they provide the best service to their customers by hiring only people of the highest caliber.”
Chung Yoon,
Branch Manager for Large Service Provider
“Omnikron teaches you the right things, big and small. The company itself has good values as do the individuals involved. They’ve really impressed me during my six years at the company. They take care of you.
Omnikron has given me a lot of feedback over the years, they care enough to spend the time coaching me. For example, when I first started at Omnikron, I wasn’t good at interviewing. Omnikron gave me constructive feedback again and again, which really helped hone my skills.
I can see a big difference in myself over the last six years. Omnikron has taught me about both software consulting and about life. They really are a team and a family.”
Nachiappan Muthukumar,
Senior Software Developer for Financial Institution
“Thank you for asking me about my experience with Omnikron. It has been my great pleasure to serve as a contractor for a little more than a year now and in that time there have been numerous stories that speak to Omnikron’s dedicated professionalism and humanity.
As you know, most of my technology career has been spent as an entrepreneur. What this means is that I enjoy a resume based upon breadth of experience rather than depth. It also means that I have not worked in the large consulting firms nor had the luxury of projects guided by PMBOK SDLC. In fact, most institutional methodologies were sacrificed at the budgetary altar.
My ‘role’ aside from being sales executive and administrative officer in my companies, was Project Mgr, Systems Analyst, QA, TechWriter and end-user support on a typical project.
When Brice Benefiel called me, I was building company #3 (my current startup). I had been bootstrapping it for more than a year and was not closed to the suggestion of taking a short-term contract. He assured me that the position he had in front of him was in line with my requirement. He then started telling me about the client. I had to stop him when he mentioned the client’s name. I had been approached by upwards of five recruiters in the last 12 months for the exact same job requirement. I then gave the position and division to him. He chuckled in what can only be described as a humored tone. I also told him about the five previous recruiters who failed to call me back let alone set anything up. (This client, by the way, has a policy of not taking recruiter submissions for any resume they already have on file, so the five previous recruiters had given up knowing that my resume was in the system)
Again, I listened to Brice’s humored chuckle. This time it announced a confident resolve. He asked for my approval to set up an interview if the client was interested. I said yes, thinking that three months would transpire before yet another recruiter would match me to the still open requirements.
It was therefore inconceivable three days later when my phone rang a second time with Brice on the other end. I thought he was proving his professionalism with a courtesy call to say that he hadn’t been able to get the appointment. Such thoughts were quickly displaced by his announcing the client’s interest and a selection of interview times. Now it was my turn in the pressure cooker, it had been 15 or so years since my last job interview.
Brice voiced his confidence in me and said that all would be well. He was right. The contract was offered and accepted. The only thing that hasn’t worked out according to plan was the duration. It was far longer than the initial 90-days promised. I am still on the contract. With the client’s grace, I am also able to continue developing my own business. That is a win-win-win by all definitions.
Since, that initial call, I have had the opportunity to get to know Omnikron and Basu Ghosh a little better. I have also come to enjoy a friendship with Robin and Brice, of course.
All of you have a singular commitment to positive outcomes. When that is coupled with a profound caring for your clients and contractors, it is clear that the purpose under which you operate is greater than the success you achieve.
Thank you for all of your efforts to make the quality of my life better. I hold you all in the greatest esteem and wish you each personal fulfillment.”
Michael Garvin
“Working for/with Omnikron has been a pleasure. The office staff has been professional and responsive to my needs. They have worked hard to foster a great relationship between the client and myself. I hope to continue our partnership for a long time to come.”
Clive McKay
“I would just like to take this opportunity to express my sincerest gratitude for the gift that was sent. There was no need for such an elaborate gift, but I sincerely thank you. With all that has been experienced, I am grateful to know that Omnikron sincerely cares in regards to their employees. Once again my sincerest appreciation for the gift and for all that you have done. I am looking forward to a long lasting future with the Omnikron Team.”
Scott Powierza
“I got great job at a fortune 100 company through Omnikron. I enjoyed my experience working for Omnikron, Inc. because they are different from other recruitment companies because they treat you if you were their only client. They have a good screening process in place to ensure that the company that you get assigned to truly matches what your professional goals are. And on a personal note, the people are great!!!”
