Course Description:

Agile Service Management is the application and integration of agile thinking into service management processes and process design projects. Agile thinking improves IT’s effectiveness and efficiency and enables IT to continue to deliver value in the face of changing requirements.

A Certified Agile Service Manager (CASM) is the operational counterpart to a Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Working together, Scrum Masters and Agile Service Managers can instill agile thinking into the entire IT organization as the basis of a DevOps culture.

  • Agile concepts and practices including ITSM, Kanban, Lean and DevOps
  • Applying Agile practices to process design and process improvement

Prerequisites:

There are no formal prerequisites for this course.  However, familiarity with IT and IT Service Management is suggested.

Exam Information:

This course prepares the participant for the official DevOps Agile Service Manager exam. The 60 minute certification exam consists of 40 multiple choice questions and a minimum pass rate of 65% is required.

Certification Earned:

Students passing the exam will receive the DevOps certificate in Agile Service Management.

Sonia Davis has over 20 years of industry experience in
roles crossing the hierarchies from support engineer to
educator. She has grown and honed her skills into what she calls her “tool belt of knowledge and success.” Her expertise include ITIL, ServiceNow System Administration, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Access, and Cloud Computing.

Her most recent position afforded her the honor of teaching military veterans an array of skills to help them transition from Military to IT with certifications and the confidence to comfortably speak of the learned skills.
